Dental Surgeon // Dr Deks Dekenah
Dr Dekenah acquired a Bachelors in Medical Science, before qualifying as a Dental Surgeon in 1981. He received the Middleton Shaw Colgate Prize for the best research paper presented as an undergraduate student at the 14th meeting of the International Association for Dental Research held in Cape town in 1980. He has been the convener and chairman of the Steenberg Orthodontic Study Group since 1996. He is also a founder member of the esteemed Two Oceans Dental Study Group and belongs to the Cape Town Dental Study Group. He acquired a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry "cum laude" from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001. He is also a member of the Dental Association of South Africa Western Cape branch.
Dental Assistant (Nurse) // Monique Shenk
Monique qualified at the Peninsula Technikon, and was honoured as the top student in her year. Due to her caring and friendly disposition towards patients, they immediately feel more at ease.
